Military Road/Missouri Avenue Transportation Study Meetings

The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) began a transportation infrastructure study to investigate traffic and truck management improvements in the Military Road and Missouri Avenue Corridor from Blair Road, NE to Wisconsin Avenue, NW. These efforts are in response to citizen concerns regarding speeding traffic, excessive truck traffic and other safety issues. Representatives of DDOT will provide updated information regarding the study area, scope of the project, schedule and will also be available to answer questions and solicit public comments from interested parties during the meeting.

Due to the large size of the study area, DDOT will host TWO PUBLIC MEETINGS, in two different locations. Each meeting will be from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The content of both meetings will be similar. All residents are welcome to attend either meeting.
