The Pennsylvania Avenue, SE Transportation Study is being conducted by the District of Columbia, Department of Transportation to investigate the automobile movements along the avenue, to document the volume of automobiles traveling along the avenue and to make recommendations for improvements to the existing conditions. The boundaries of the study are from the foot of the Sousa Bridge to the Maryland line at Southern Aveune, SE. There have been four planned community meetings to keep the residents and businesses informed of the findings of the study. The study will be conducted over a twenty week period.
