A stakeholders meeting for tour bus companies, associations, museums, government agencies and ANCs will be held December 17, 2003 at 10:00 am. At this meeting, the Volpe Report will be presented and discussed.

A broader meeting for the public will be held January 14, 2004, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. From 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, there will be informal discussion. From 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm, people can make formal statements about their reaction to the report. In particular, we are anxious to hear about which recommendations should be implemented, which ones should be dropped, and which ones may have been overlooked or omitted.

At the conclusion of the public meeting in January, DDOT will work with a consultant to develop a financially feasible and sustainable implementation plan for those policy and facility options that are acceptable.
