Ramp From S. Dakota to New York Ave. To Close Wednesday Night
The District Department of Transportation announces that, weather permitting, the ramp from South Dakota Avenue, NE to eastbound/outbound New York Avenue will be closed on Wednesday, July 18 from 12-midnight to 5 am.
Detour signs will take motorists from South Dakota Avenue to V Street, NE to Bladensburg Road, NE and to eastbound New York Avenue.
The closure is for new pavement markings as part of the $25 million widening of New York Avenue over the Anacostia River and the Amtrak tracks.
