Starting on Monday, June 25th, portions of the northbound 3rd Street Tunnel under the Mall will be closed each weeknight.
Week one: June 25th - June 29th and Week three: July 9th - July 13th, weeknights 8:30pm - 4:00am. Closures will divert the northbound I-395 freeway tunnel traffic up the northbound "C" Street ramp to Washington Avenue.
Week two: July 2nd - July 6th and Week four: July 16th - July 20th, weeknights 8:30pm - 4:00am. Closure will divert the westbound freeway to northbound tunnel traffic up the northbound "D" Street ramp to Washington Avenue.
This project will last approximately one month and is to replace light fixtures.
This schedule could change depending on the progress of the work.
Motorists are asked to follow traffic signals and road signs and, if possible, use alternate routes.
