Traffic Alerts May 31, 2001 RAMP TO 11TH STREET BRIDGE TO CLOSE SATURDAY On Saturday, June 2, weather permitting, the ramp from the eastbound Southeast Expressway to the 11th Street Bridge will be closed from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm as part of the expressway reconstruction. Eastbound motorists will be detoured to the 6th Street, SE, ramp to eastbound Virginia Avenue, to the 8th Street on-ramp to the bridge. Variable message boards have been deployed to advise motorists of the detour. If the weather is inclement, the work will be performed on Saturday, June 9.
