Cathedral Avenue to be One-Way from Rock Creek Parkway
Starting on Wednesday, February 27, until June, Cathedral Avenue, NW, will be one-way from Rock Creek Parkway from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday. Motorists to Rock Creek Parkway will be detoured to Woodley Place and Woodley Road and back to Cathedral Avenue to the Parkway.
There has been extensive community consultation about the traffic management plan for this project, including consultation with the affected Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner. The work includes reconstruction of the streetlights, handicap ramps, curbs, gutters and sidewalks, and a final repaving.
