Inbound 11th St. Bridge Temporarily Closed Starting June 14
The District Department of Transportation announces that, weather permitting, the 11th Street Bridge over the Anacostia River will be closed to inbound traffic this weekend from about 8 pm, Friday, June 14 until Sunday evening for repaving. Detour signs will direct motorists to the John Philip Sousa (Pennsylvania Avenue) or the Frederick Douglass/South Capitol Street Bridge. Variable message signs are in place advising drivers of closure.
If the weather is inclement, the repaving will be postponed.
