Mayor Fenty Lifts Snow Emergency 

(Washington, DC) Mayor Adrian Fenty has lifted the snow emergency for the District effective immediately. Forecasts are now reporting heavier snows anticipated for this evening will not enter the District area until earlier Monday morning.
